Prospective Parents

We welcome parent inquiry about prospective enrollment in the Lighthouse Program at any time.   Although the majority of new students join the Program in the fall with the beginning of the new school year, the Lighthouse Program does admit students during the year on a space available basis.  Our student body is drawn from across the region, and indeed, more than 95% of our students come from outside the boundaries of the Spring Lake Park district.

We encourage you to arrange for a visit to the school, and to meet with the Program Coordinator to discuss enrollment options.  The first step in the admission process after this initial discussion is often a visit by your child to the school for a day for him or her to better understand what it means to be a student at the Lighthouse.  The Lighthouse also encourages prospective parents to ask questions of parents of currently enrolled children.  Contact the Program Coordinator for information.
